RYAN JARRARD

MEMBER ATTORNEY

Ryan E. Jarrard joined the firm as an Associate Attorney in 2007, and became a member in 2013. Prior to joining the firm he was employed by a local law firm practicing mainly in the area of worker’s compensation. He has considerable litigation experience and has successfully tried jury and non-jury trials in Tennessee State Courts and Federal Court. In addition, he represents several business and individual clients in litigation and non-litigation matters in State, Federal and Bankruptcy Courts.

In addition to civil and non-jury trials, he has represented and counseled clients in business formation, entity selection, contract negotiations, purchase, sale agreements, worker’s compensation, Federal receivership and bankruptcy matters.

He has volunteered his time as an attorney coach for a Knoxville area high school and law school Mock Trial teams and is a regular judge for both the Ray H. Jenkins Trial Tournament and the Advocate’s Prize Moot Court Competition at the University of Tennessee College of Law.

Ryan Jarrard was born in Tampa, Florida, but has lived in Knoxville, Tennessee since 1991. Currently, he and his wife Sarah live in Knoxville, Tennessee where he enjoys competitive auto racing and is a board member for East Tennessee Region of the Sports Car Club of America.
